Nomination Forms
The diocese has provided information about the various roles here. Additionally we provide some narrative below regarding the kind of commitment involved.
Wardens. 3 wardens share the responsibility to manage the infrastructure of our church (buildings, budget, HR of non-clergy). They work with the rector and PC to do so.
Parish Council. The PC represent the parish in assisting the wardens. They meet each month on a Monday evening.
Parish Nominator. This group of 5 do nothing (!!) unless Toongabbie Anglican needs a new rector then their very important role is manage the process to find a new rector. They work with the diocese to do so.
Synod Representative. 2 lay people from our church join the rector (and Nat who is invited by the Archbishop) to attend Synod over 5 days each year for 3 years. Synod is where the diocese decides how to govern itself.
