Changes: An Update
Hi there, it's great you are at church today. If this is your first time here then I hope you feel really welcome as you get to know new people in a new place. But even if you’ve been around for a while, you may have noticed a few new things recently. Here's an update...
A New Logo. What does it mean? Good question. In developing this new logo we wanted to capture something of our identity as ‘ordinary people encountering the extraordinary God’. In this design, the two lines move to a point of encounter at the centre of the cross. Jesus death on the cross is what allows this encounter between God and humankind, and we encounter God as we encounter Jesus in his word and by his spirit. The logo aims to be a fresh presentation of our identity as a church, while maintaining some continuity to the past in its colour and design features. There will of course be a while where we see the old logo popping up as we use up pre-printed materials. Thanks to Oliver for his work on this, and to many of you who provided feedback at various stages.
A New Website. Hop on to www.tac.church to have a look at our new web presence. The main point of most of the site is to let people know who we are, how to find us and to encourage them to come and visit. But that’s not all it is for. The website also contains a member’s hub we are calling tacLife which has everything you need to stay connected and up to date with the life of our church. You can find it on the main website or go straight there and have a look by typing in taclife.church. Thanks again to Pete for his maintenance of the church website for some time, and to Susan as she takes this role on.
Elvanto. Our new online database/rostering/calendar/everything system has been up and running for a while now (and you can now access it through tacLife.church). If you haven’t set up your account and need some help with that then talk to someone on staff or the designated helper at your congregation.
