Moving Towards Christmas

As the calendar clicks over to November (already!), the regular controversy sets in. Is it ok to start listening to your favourite carols and Christmas playlists? What do you think?

Decorations are in the shops and you may already be thinking about presents, family gatherings and summer holidays. Here at TAC we are preparing for our celebrations with our church family and community. Here are the plans so far, so you can get dates in your diary.

Women’s Gingerbread Event: On the 1st of December, this year with two sessions. An early one to bring the kids to, and a later option as well. Details in the handout and bookings at

Christmas Festival – Sunday 16th of December from 5:30 pm. Just like last year there will be a family friendly Christmas Show in the hall and a carpark filled with activities, food and stalls. As the sun goes down, we’ll get into some carol singing. A super easy invite for our community.

Christmas services – One Christmas Eve service at 9 pm, then Christmas Day celebrations at 8 am and 9:30 am.

There will be lots of ways to be involved in these events, from acting, to being part of the letterbox drop. Be ready to invite friends and neighbours too, as we consider the coming of the king. Please also be praying for those preparing Christmas assemblies for our local schools.

Until then, enjoy getting into the carols (or not… up to you…)
