An Unbelievable Life

Welcome to church today. Over the summer, some have been away. Others have caught up with family. Some have holidayed at home. Others have had to work throughout. Others have been contemplating their future. Whatever you have been doing, we hope that you also had some time remembering and celebrating the coming of the Lord Jesus into our world. It is through him that we can have An Unbelievable Life.

Particularly as we live through wild weather around the world, we cannot escape the reality of change. However, it is the coming of Jesus that has changed the world more than anything else.

Today is the day that we have set aside at TAC to officially launch our year together. Church is where those who have been changed by Jesus gather together, to be fed by God’s Word and by one another.  The Bible says 24 And let us be concerned about one another in order to promote love and good works, 25 not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near (Hebrews 10:24–25).

As we begin the year, may I encourage you to make a renewed effort in this area? With the 24/7 world in which we live, and a plethora of options (many of which are good!), we have the enormous privilege of serving and encouraging one another as we meet together around the Word of God. And, furthermore, our experience has been that most weeks people walk through our doors to join us. Some are Christians looking for a new church home. Others are looking for the Unbelievable Life that Jesus offers. It is such a delight to be part of God’s work in this way.

Everyone has a part to play – whether you have been part of TAC for decades or even just a few weeks. Jesus has come to bring healing, a healing far beyond our greatest imaginations. How blessed we are!
