Loving each other deeply

Our Vision is to be an ever-growing diverse church family.  The grace of Jesus unites and transforms us so we can worship God wholeheartedly, love each other deeply and serve our community boldly.

Part of our vision as a church is to love each other deeply.  We have a great church community where many people show their love for their brothers and sisters in Christ in a whole heap of ways.

Loving each other is always something we can be working on. Here are some ideas …

  • Prayer – praying for each other is a key way we can be upholding our sisters and brothers to God.

  • Sharing meals together - like the early church who "broke bread from house to house” (Acts 2:46) we want to encourage people in sharing meals together.  This may be inviting someone over for a meal after church, going out to a café together, or enjoying a picnic together in a local park.

  • Chatting to someone you don’t know after church – it is easy for us to get caught up with our friends who we are familiar and comfortable with.  This is good, but you can also be looking out for someone you haven’t yet met – this builds up the church and helps you make new friends.

  • Looking for ways to serve each other on Sunday and during the week – this may be providing a meal, calling to encourage someone, helping someone when moving house ...  Once you start looking the opportunities are endless!

It is such a privilege to be part of a loving church and to love others as we have been loved, most of all by our precious Lord Jesus - We love because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19
