Prayers and Picnicking

There are some great opportunities coming up for us to come together as a church family and celebrate the unity we have in Christ.  Two such opportunities are happening soon …

Church Prayer Night – Monday 2nd Sept, 7:30pm in Lower Hall

We are encouraged in Paul’s letter to the Philippians to not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. Phil 4:6 We have a great God who loves to hear our prayers!

The Church Prayer Night is an opportunity to come together with your church family and bring our prayers to God. It is an opportunity to pray for our church, our missionaries, our community, and each other. You won’t be asked to pray out loud, you can pray silently or listen to others pray if you prefer. Praying together is a life changing experience for our church and all those involved.

Church Picnic – Sunday 22nd Sept, after 10am church

The Picnic Committee have been working hard to put together an opportunity to celebrate and relax together. The venue is being finalised but it will most likely be a park in the Winston Hills area. All are welcome – young, old and everyone in between. Activities will include picnic games such as sack races & egg and spoon races. We are also hoping to have our link missionaries Stu and Isabella and their family come along as well. Bring your own lunch and other fun things to do.

Please join us for prayers and picnicking. For further information – email or fill out a Connect Card.
